Poems from Zende Jacobs Kalyan

My name is Zende Jacobs Kalyan. I am a freshman at Whitworth University. for as long as I can remember I've always known that I had a way with words but I never knew when it would come in handy, so, I never thought much of it. When I got to high school I joined speech/debate and found as use for my words, though it didn't bring my voice to the forefront. In rough time I my mom gave me a journal for my thoughts, and began to write. Before I knew I was writing poetry, now I can say I was good from the start, but no one really is. So, I keep writing to improve my poems and myself in the process.
